Need-Based Tuition Assistance
Through the generosity of our donors, Santiam Christian School helps make Christ-centered education accessible to families in financial need. Our tuition assistance program is need-based, with awards determined through a careful review of each family’s financial profile, including income, household size, assets, and overall financial obligations.
While each application is evaluated individually, the following sliding scale provides general guidance for a family of four with a $20,000 tuition cost.
In all cases, tuition assistance awards will not exceed 50% of total tuition costs.
Please note:
These ranges are estimates only and not guarantees of award amounts.
Actual awards may vary based on factors such as the number of children enrolled, debt obligations, assets, and other financial considerations.
Families with higher incomes or significant assets may qualify for limited or no assistance, as funds are prioritized for those with the greatest demonstrated need.
Families may begin applying online on March 15, here. Applicants will need their 2024 and 2025 tax returns and $35 (processing fee) to complete the application. Applications may take 2-4 weeks to process once all required documents are submitted; an incomplete or unverifiable application will not be reviewed until all information has been provided. Preschool and 1/2-day kindergarten are not eligible for financial aid.
Priority is given to completed and verified applications received by April 1, with aid notifications beginning on April 25. Standard review will be processed for completed and verified applications received by May 5. If there is a reason you are unable to complete the application process by May 5, please email with an explanation and anticipated completion date.
Financial Aid is open through July 1 and depends on the remaining funds available.
As with all things, there has to be a timeline for things to work. Families who do not complete the application process should be prepared to pay all educational costs.
Sincerely,
