Letter From the Superintendent

The most impressionable time of a person's life is when they are young. Our values and worldview are almost entirely set when we exit high school.   Every parent wants to raise their children to be people of character with strong values that will last a lifetime. To achieve each of these grand goals for our children is a challenging task. So, parents like you who are proactive and intentional find a church that teaches sound Biblical Truths. They seek community activities that promote Christian moral values and look for educational institutions that honor their desires to raise morally sound children.

For nearly 46 years, Santiam Christian Schools has been a place that parents can rely on to partner with them in raising children of character. They have found that Santiam Christian is grounded upon Biblical principles and committed to providing a school culture that extols the Christian virtues of truth, grace, hope, patience, kindness, and love. Santiam Christian is committed to standing on biblical truth no matter how the culture around us changes. Our mission statement is clear: "Santiam Christian is here to partner with Christian parents who adhere to our Statement of Faith in the training of their children by providing a Christ-centered, academic environment that encourages the development of a Christian worldview emphasizing academic excellence, Christian character, responsible citizenship, and service to others." - This is our commitment, this is our calling, this is our purpose.

If we can answer any of your questions regarding how Santiam Christian Schools can support you in your efforts to raise children with a Biblical moral character, we would love to hear from you and share our story.

For Christian education,

Al Stefan
