Santiam Christian Schools Receives Donations Totaling $20,000 from TOYOTA USA and John and Phil’s  TOYOTA SUBARU SCION

We are grateful to announce we have been awarded a contribution of $10,000 from JOHN AND PHIL’S TOYOTA SUBARU SCION, as well as a matching $10,000 grant from Toyota USA.

The grant gift will go directly to the completion of the new library/science/community building.  Having an alumni parent like Phil Doud continue to support the educational future of students here at Santiam Christian, is both humbling and confirming.  We thank Toyota USA for this gift to support the construction of our new building, said Superintendent Stan Baker

$1 Million Dollar Gift was Received

We have received a gift of over one million dollars for our new building. "Our first floor is complete, our library books are all in place and we should have complete occupancy of the first floor next month. Now we can continue with the second floor. We are well on our way to completing the complete building." says Superintendent Stan Baker. 

The one million dollar gift comes right at the heels of a generous gift from the Mario and Alma Pastega Foundation for the new community room in the building. The Santiam Christian School community also successfully completed a fund challenge and raised $100,000 within the parent body.

"It is amazing to see how God has provided far beyond anyone's expectations. With this latest gift we are now within a few hundred thousand dollars of fully completing construction of the largest capital project in school history!" said Steve Roderick School Board President.

Mr. Mario Pastega Makes a Generous Donation

Mr. Mario Pastega has made generous donation towards the Community Room in the new building. The room will now be named The Mario and Alma Pastega Community Room. "Mario has been such a generous contributor to the community and the state. To have him see the vision of this building and show confidence in our school, is a humbling tribute to our future." stated Stan Baker, Superintendent of Schools.
