Please be in prayer for the following areas relating to the superintendent search:

• The search process in general, that wisdom and unity will prevail among all parties involved
• For the Holy Spirit to begin a work in the heart of our next superintendent
• To guide SIMA team in their work reviewing prospective candidate applications
• To guide the search committee and the SIMA team in finalizing the critical requirements document
• For the Santiam Christian family as we live out the final year of Mr. Baker’s leadership

Update from Jill Martinson on Opportunities for Prayer

Several faculty members representing all levels of our school met together in early December to corporately pray for candidate vetting.  It was an encouraging time as there was a sense of unity among the group.

The "Mom's in Touch" group continues to meet weekly, taking the Superintendent Search as one of their main points of prayer focus.

Faculty members are invited to another time of corporate prayer next Thursday, February 2nd as we pray specifically for the upcoming in-person interviews.  Hopefully many members of SC's faculty will be in attendance, but all are encouraged to pray on their own.

Prayer points:

1.  Candidates have a sense of God's purpose and calling.
2.  Effective/productive interview sessions.
3.  Continued wisdom and unity for the Search committee.
4.  Peace for school faculty and staff as we enter the season of transition.
5.  Grace and blessing for the Bakers.

All in all, we want the person of God's choosing to lead SC into the coming years, so we are seeking His heart in the matter.
