Dear Parent:

In an effort to enhance the Financial Aid Program we are partnering with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. They will be conducting the financial need analysis for Santiam Christian Schools for the upcoming 2012 - 2013 school year. Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by May 1, 2012. Applications will be accepted through August 1, 2012, priority will be given to applications received by May 1, 2012. I will begin the Tuition Work Aid job assignment process in June. If you do not complete the application process by August 1, 2012, you should be prepared to pay all educational costs incurred. 

Applicants can apply online beginning March 1, 2012 at www.factstuitionaid.com. If you are applying online FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment paper work may be faxed or you may pick up a self-addressed envelope in the Business Office for you to mail the following information:

1. Signed and completed paper application.

2. Payment of the non-refundable application fee.

3. Copies of your most recent tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.

4. Copies of your 2011 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.

5. Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.

***NOTE: New policy requires ALL current and potential Financial Aid applicants (includes TWA and Scholarship) to fill-out and submit applications on-line through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment (click on above link) NO LATER THAN MAY 1st, 2012. This is mandatory for all families applying for TWA and Scholarship awards for the 2012-13 school year.
